Ma-Anne and I have been blessed to capture many special moments in the lives of our clients. However, there is something truly special about photographing intimate family gatherings, especially when it comes to milestone birthdays. Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing Mam Helen's 60th birthday celebration held in the East Ocean Palace, a Lauriat-style Chinese restaurant that specializes in serving traditional Chinese dishes.
The private function room was filled with Helen's loved ones, all eager to celebrate her special day. The lunch was served with a delicious selection of Chinese dishes, including noodles, seafood, and roasted meats. It was evident that every detail of the celebration was thoughtfully planned to make it memorable. Of course, the highlight of the celebration was when it was time to blow out the candles on Mam Helen's birthday cake. Her face lit up with joy as her family and friends sang the birthday song a few times, wishing her good health and longevity.
Ma-Anne and I took beautiful portraits of Mam Helen surrounded by her family members and children, which can be printed and hung on the wall as a lasting memory of this special celebration.
