Reception: The Manila Polo Club

JHG Wedding Q & A answered by the wedding couple:

Q: What was it like to have JHG photography on your day?

The best! Joel and Ma-anne were very easy to work with but the same time very professional. We didn't have a hard time doing the shoot because they made us very comfortable with them. Our photos came out really beautiful. They were very creative and full of cool ideas!

Q: What was the most memorable part of your photography experience with Joel & Ma-anne?

When we were shooting by the field together with the videographers. We love the concept and we never though we'd be lying down on a grass field with my wedding gown while raindrops were falling. Everyone was just HAPPY and enjoying :)

Q: Any advice to offer new brides and grooms to-be?

There is no such thing as "perfect wedding". You just have to enjoy every moment of it, and make it perfect for you.

Q: Where did you get your dress?

From Atelier Debbie Co.

Q: Who was the designer?

Debbie Co designed my wedding dress. I trusted her with everything. I just discussed with her my ideas during the first meeting and she made a very beautiful dress! More than what I was expecting. I'm so in love with it!

Q: Who was the florist and stylist?

FLOWERS BY CES -- and we were very happy with the outcome! Especially my bouquet. :)

Q: Who did your makeup?
Ivy Ross Trajano made us beautiful on our wedding day. Very kind and charming!

Q: What was the weather like?
Bright but not Sunny. Perfect for a wedding day :)

Q: What was the funniest thing that you remember happening?

I guess when we did most of the kissing part during the shoot and our first dance. My groom and I were not really "tweetums" infront of so many people. And it makes us still shy with each other when we do these things in public.

Q: What characteristics of the ceremony made your event most unique to you two as a couple?
When the priest announced "husband and wife".. Though we've been together for more than 10 years, making it official still gives a different feeling.

Q: What do you remember most about the Ceremony?

All the people who took time to attend, smiling faces and teary eyes.. All our loved ones gathered together and flew in just to celebrate with us.

Q: What was your favorite part about the photographs and what ended up being your favorite photo?

Photo where the groom sits on the field ground and bride lying down on his lap.

Q:What made your reception personalized to your own unique vision and expectations?

Since we DIY-ed most of the details in our wedding, (from the table numbers, give aways, photobooth props, gift cards to the giant letters and decors.) It sort-of gave a special touch to the over all ambiance.

Q:Besides the “getting married” part, what was the most vivid memory of your wedding day? (bride’s perspective)

I guess the preparation before the actual ceremony and the party after. I made sure I enjoyed everything on my wedding day. As it only happens once in a lifetime and I didn't want to miss anything. I want to always remember every moment of it. :)

Q:What regrets, (if any) do you have about the planning of your wedding and your decisions leading up to the day?

No regrets. Very happy with the outcome of my wedding. :)

Q:What part of the day do you want to do again and why?
Every part of it. The preparation, the bonding with all my suppliers who became our friends, the ceremony, the celebration. Its just nice to work with people and create a special bond with them, its a good feeling to be with our families and friends just having fun celebrating and sharing special moment of our lives. :)

Q: Where did the guys get their suits/tuxes?
Groom's barong from a supplier straight from Lumban Laguna specially made for him.

Q: Where did you get your rings?
From Ms. Amy of New Life Jewelry -- Very helpful and kind to us.

Q: Who was your shoe designer?

Groom's shoes from Florsheim
Brides Flat Shoes from Stella Luna and Heels from Schutz in Adora
