Ceremony: Central United Methodist Church Reception: Century Park Hotel, Kachina Room Color: Red & Gold Q: Describe your wedding in a few paragraphs. A: Our wedding was short and sweet. The ceremony lasted for 30 minutes while the reception lasted for an hour and a half. Our coordinator, Merry Me, made sure everything was on time. Q: What was it like to have JHG photography on your day? A: We had the privilege of working with Joel and Ma-anne for our engagement shoot so it wasn’t awkward during the wedding day. We didn’t have to worry how each shot turned out because we knew that all the photos would turn out beautifully. Q: What was the most memorable part of your photography experience with Joel & Ma-anne? A: For Ronna it was the bridal portraits during prep time. For Marc it was the photos with family. Q: Any advice to offer new brides and grooms to-be? A: Get a good photographer because the photos are going to last a lifetime! Q: What was the weather like? A: It was just perfect. A storm came in the following day but that Sunday, the weather was just perfect. Q: What was the funniest thing that you remember happening? A: During the post-nup photos with the female entourage, we were being photographed in a garden. Almost everyone was wearing heels and we all had a hard time walking because the heels would sink to the ground! It was hilarious! Q: What characteristics of the ceremony made your event most unique to you two as a couple? A: The ceremony was very short but sweet – only 30 minutes. I guess that’s what made it unique. Q: What do you remember most about the Ceremony? A: The vows! Marc’s was brief and concise while Ronna cried a little while reading hers. Q: What was your favorite part about the photographs and what ended up being your favorite photo? A: It’s hard to choose just one as all the photos look amazing. We like how Joel and Ma-anne are able to capture the details and turn the photo into something magnificent. Q: What was the best moment of the night (funniest, most heart-warming, and most memorable)? A: The best moment was seeing all the guests on their seats even after the SDE was shown. It was a wonderful feeling that our guests stayed until the very end of the program. That meant a lot to us. Q: Besides the “getting married” part, what was the most vivid memory of your wedding day? (bride’s perspective) A: Definitely walking down the aisle! Q: Looking back, what’s one thing you’d change about your wedding (could be to do with planning, the actual day, etc.) A: There were a few mishaps here and there but I think everything worked out pretty well. We would not change a thing. Q: What part of the day do you want to do again and why? A: The impromptu shoot at Manila Bay! The view was fantastic and we enjoyed that shoot a lot.
